Practical notes
Sessions, confidentiality, sandplay, and how to get in touch — answered quietly.
How do we begin?
Start with an initial 50-minute consultation. It is a chance to talk about what brings you, ask anything you need, and decide together whether we are a good fit. There is no obligation to continue.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us, within the usual professional limits (for example, if there is a serious risk of harm). I am a registered member of the BACP and work to its Ethical Framework.
Do you work online?
Yes. Sessions are offered in West London and online via phone, Zoom, or FaceTime. Many clients mix in-person and online as life requires.
How often would we meet?
Most people meet weekly. Some prefer twice weekly at the start, or fortnightly later on. We agree a rhythm that you can keep.
How long does therapy last?
Short-term work might be 6–12 sessions for a focused concern. Longer work unfolds over months or years when the issues are deeper or more complex. We review as we go.
What is sandplay?
Sandplay is a gentle, creative way of working with a tray of sand and miniature figures when words are not yet enough. It is available for children, young people and adults in West London. You do not need any artistic skill. It can stand alone or sit alongside talking therapy.
Can yoga be part of therapy?
Yes, where it belongs. Yoga therapy is tailored and paced to you. Vinyasa and prenatal yoga can also be offered as home visits, separate from talking therapy if you prefer.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give 24–48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Late cancellations may be charged at the session fee, except in genuine emergency.
Do you offer reduced fees?
A small number of reduced-fee slots are available. If cost is a barrier, say so in your enquiry and we can see what is possible.
How do I get in touch?
Use the contact or booking form, WhatsApp, or call +44 7841 348565. I reply personally — usually within a couple of working days.
