Sandplay Therapy

Seeing the story we don't know we are telling.

Sandplay Therapy in West London — for children, young people and adults who may find it difficult to express their experiences through words alone.

Sandplay Therapy is a gentle and creative form of therapy that offers a different way of expressing thoughts, feelings and experiences when words may not feel enough.

Using a tray of sand and a carefully selected collection of miniature figures and objects, you are invited to create your own world or scene. There is no right or wrong way to use the sand or choose the figures. The process allows thoughts, emotions, memories and inner experiences to emerge naturally, often without needing to explain or analyse them.

Sandplay can support children, young people and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, emotional difficulties, life transitions, trauma, loss, relationship challenges or a sense of being stuck. It can also be a valuable way to develop greater self-awareness, explore unconscious patterns and connect with parts of yourself that may be difficult to access through talking alone.

Sandplay can be used on its own or integrated with talking therapy, depending on your individual needs.
