Grounded, gentle support through pregnancy — including home visits, adapted as the body changes.

Pregnancy rearranges more than the body. Sleep changes. Identity begins a long conversation with itself. The future, which used to be somewhat abstract, becomes a date and a set of appointments. Prenatal yoga, as I offer it, is not a performance of the glowing expectant person. It is a way of meeting the changing body with care — breath, rest, and strength that serves you now.

Sessions can be held as home visits. That is not a luxury so much as a practical kindness. Travelling to a studio when you are tired, nauseous, or simply done with being observed is often the thing that stops people practising at all. Your living room, a folded blanket, an hour that belongs to you: that is enough.

We adapt throughout pregnancy. Early on, the work might be about settling the nervous system and making room for fatigue without treating it as failure. Later, we might work with space in the breath, with positions that ease the back and the hips, with rest that is actually rest. Nothing is imposed from a sequence designed for a different body in a different week.

Prenatal yoga here is also a psychological space. You may want to talk. You may want to move and not talk. Anxiety about birth, about becoming a parent, about the life that is ending as well as the one that is beginning — all of that is allowed in the hour. The body and the story are not separate departments.

You do not need previous yoga experience. You do not need to be feeling blissful. If you are feeling complicated, that is a perfectly reasonable state in which to practise. We work with what is true in this week, not an ideal of how pregnancy “should” look.

The fee for a home visit is one hundred pounds per hour, the same as vinyasa yoga at home. If cost is a barrier, say so. A small number of reduced-fee slots exist, and I would rather have an honest conversation than have you disappear.

If you would like to begin, tell me where you are in pregnancy and what you need the hour to be. We will shape it together — slowly, and with respect for the life that is already underway. Partners are welcome to sit nearby if that helps, or the hour can be yours alone. Either way, the practice belongs to you, and you are allowed to change your mind from week to week.
